Hunter-gathers in southern Africa represent the oldest lineage of humans, so it's important to understand their genetic diversity as it relates to their unique lifestyle and the changing world around them. A group of researchers have recently examined the DNA from five African men, revealing over 1.3 million new genetic variations. Watch this videocast to understand the significance of these findings.
