Enterprise and Traveling Exhibits
The Education Enterprises team at the Museum of Science is committed to promoting interest in and the understanding of science and engineering. We work both within the Museum of Science through temporary and traveling exhibits, and also throughout the museum community by collaborating on projects and providing services, consultation, and products. These products include traveling exhibits, the duplication of exhibits developed at the Museum of Science, and the licensing of our program materials, public presentations, and Planetarium shows.
Exhibit and Program Rentals
Our exhibit offerings include Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination and several small exhibits that focus on recent developments in engineering and technology, scientific discovery, exploration, and climate and environmental issues. We can also license the use of many of our public programs, science theater presentations, and Planetarium shows.
Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination
After a successful initial tour around the United States, Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination went international with showings in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia. In 2010, Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination returns to North America on a four-year, ten-city tour. The first exhibition of its kind, this exhibit combines costumes and props from all six Star Wars films with interactive exhibits related to real-world technologies.

- Giant Leaps This 400-square-foot banner show celebrates the Apollo space program and the 40th anniversary of the Moon landing. It is most appropriate for schools and libraries, but we welcome inquiries for an enhanced version. Developed by the Museum of Science, MIT Museum, and the MIT Aero/Astro Department. Learn More (PDF)
- Double Exposure: Photographing Global Climate Change This 150-linear-foot photographic display exposes global warming through the lens of a camera. The show consists of a series of pairs of large black and white aerial photos of glaciers taken by Bradford Washburn and David Arnold some 70 years apart. Each pair is accompanied by an educational panel. Produced by Doublexposure in partnership with the Museum of Science. Learn More
- Beyond the X-ray This 2,000-square-foot exhibit uses graphics, multimedia, and interactive experiences to explain medical imaging technology. Learn More (PDF)

Exhibit Services
We are available to discuss the purchase or duplication of any of our permanent exhibits, designs, or interactive components developed by our team of experts. Our exhibits go through extensive prototyping and evaluation during the development phase, and have all undergone rigorous testing on our own Exhibit Halls.
